Partnering with organizations and public support groups, we organize multiple programs with constant strife to promote the welfare of orphans. Impact: (1) Provided better educational opportunities to orphans, we empowered them to complete their basic as well as advanced schooling. (2) Focused on granting easy access to health and nutritional services to orphans. (3) Work to minimize the risk of contracting the HIV/AIDS virus in orphan children. (4) Provided optimal protection of their legal and human rights, and meeting their emotional needs. (5) Offered adoption opportunities, facilitated the adoption process, conducted psychosocial evaluations, and used interventions to monitor children in fostering environments. Over the years, our projects have helped hundreds and thousands of orphans in need along with promoting the rebuilding and remodeling of the entire community. COLLATERAL REPAIR PROJECT
Collateral Repair Project (CRP) in Amman, Jordan, has been assisting victims of violent conflict since 2006. We are a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization in the US and registered as an international organization with the Ministry of Social Development in Jordan. CRP was initially founded to aid Iraqi refugees fleeing violence in the aftermath of the second Gulf War, yet we offer our services to those in need regardless of nationality. We currently assist and seek to empower refugees from various nationalities -- for example, Syria, Iraq, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia -- and Jordanians living in extreme poverty. Our holistic approach supports refugees to take care of their most pressing basic needs through our Emergency Assistance Program, which provides food vouchers, cash assistance, and other vital items. We actively encourage those in our community to participate in activities at our vibrant community centers, where we offer various educational, recreational, and wellness activities so that they can gain skills, build community, and heal from trauma. Lastly, we provide leadership and community service opportunities for refugees to serve others, which has proven to be a key driver of their resilience. We are proud of the close ties and honest conversations we have with the community we serve, which is where our greatest strengths lie. Our great strengths are our deep knowledge and trust of our community, our commitment to community-based engagement, and our ability to provide emergency assistance to those in need in an efficient and timely manner. CRP supports the integration of refugees in Amman, Jordan, and is grounded in three core values that help us determine if we are on the right path and fulfilling our goals. 1. We are community-focused - We welcome everyone equally, regardless of faith, nationality, or gender, and we view diversity as a source of strength and opportunity. We deeply listen to the voices of the community in all decisions. We are creative and innovative with limited resources. 2. We strive for holistic human development - We make a difference in the lives of others every day. We provide opportunities for everyone to grow, make friends, heal, and become resilient. We build a supportive and encouraging environment for everyone. 3. We are professional and respectful - We create extraordinary and unique experiences. We act with kindness to everyone and each other constantly. We are open, honest, and prompt.
