Abigail Welsh Belize 2027

Our Story

I have been given an amazing opportunity to go to Belize for a mission trip! Here, Judson will connect with Good Shepherd Church in the village of San Antonio Rio Hondo. I will be going to a local elementary school to work with the children there. One of the biggest parts of the trip for myself is going to the local elementary school to assist the teachers there. We will be able to work with the kids and help to serve the community through the school. We will also run VBS in the afternoons along with different sports in the evening. I have always had a love and passion for teaching and serving children. Being able to bring the Good news to children and show them the love of God has been a huge part of my life and what God has called me to. This is an amazing opportunity for me to grow in this way and be able to bless this village with the gifts God has equipped me with. I believe that I will be impacted greatly by the people I am serving. I may be going to serve them or help teach the children but I know I will learn and grow from them just as much. Seeing how this community joins together I pray will impact how I go back and develop my own community here in the States. Support, whether that be through prayer or financial gifts, helps this trip come to fruition. I am looking to raise $1,900 for this trip to help fund the work we are doing with Good Shepherd Church. Prayer is also so appreciated and does extraordinary things. Prayers to help prepare the hearts of those we are serving, along with our own, help us be in the proper heart posture, ready to serve and bless the people. I also ask for prayers for safety and that we can be a light to these children and the people of this village. Your support will make this impact possible for Christ.
