Natalie Dalton Dominican Republic Global Out Reach Trip 2027

Our Story

This spring, I have the opportunity to return to Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic, with Judson University’s Global Outreach team. We will be partnering with Fraternidad Cristiana Amor a Quisqueya, a local church that faithfully serves its community. Our team will lead sports clinics, teach English to children, serve at an orphanage for girls ages 8–18, assist with church communication and media, and help with light construction projects. Through each of these opportunities, our greatest desire is to share the love of Jesus. I feel called to serve because God has placed this desire on my heart and commanded us to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). This will be my second time serving in Jarabacoa, and I am incredibly excited to return. Last year, God used this trip to change my perspective and deepen my understanding of who He is. I was especially impacted by the community and the time I spent serving at the orphanage. I saw how God can work through simple acts of service, relationships, and a willingness to say yes to Him. As 1 Peter 4:10 says, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another.” Because of that experience, the Lord placed a strong desire on my heart to return. I am excited to see how He will move again and to say yes to whatever He has planned for me and our team. I am asking first and foremost for your prayerful support. Please pray for our team’s preparation, safety, attitudes, and actions, that everything we do would reflect Christ. 1 John 5:14 reminds us, “If we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” Your prayers are a meaningful part of this mission.
