Pet Project for Pets, Inc.

Founded in 2002, The Pet Project for Pets is South Florida’s largest pet-retention organization, helping more than 2,000 pets annually remain at home with the people who love them. We serve financially challenged seniors, people living with illness or disability, and other qualified residents of Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Our core assistance includes pet food and supplies, home delivery for eligible homebound clients, and referrals to reduced-cost and emergency veterinary resources. Qualified pets may also receive limited preventive wellness services through scheduled mobile programs. All assistance requires a completed application and approval and is subject to eligibility, appointments, funding, and availability. Our programs also include Senior Paws, Senior Claws and Unforgotten Paws, which help senior and long-term shelter pets find loving homes with lifetime support; the Pet Legacy Program, which protects pets whose owners can no longer care for them; and statewide distribution of donated pet products to qualified nonprofit organizations through our partnership with Greater Good Charities.
