Since 1999 over 14,000 landlords and managers have completed CIC property management training to help them better market, manage and maintain affordable rental property. CIC also provides below-market financing for multifamily energy improvements in the Energy Savers program. Changing Expectations mission is to provide the highest impact STEM and computer science education programs to inspire young people from ethnically underrepresented backgrounds and prepare them to pursue STEM and computing careers. We focus our work on reaching out to young people who might otherwise not have access to quality STEM and computer science education programs. Changing Expectations provides technical assistance specializing in inspiring and raising STEM and computer science academic achievement for African American, Hispanic, and other traditionally underserved students who eat free/reduced lunch and their teachers, parents and (2) STEM and computer science educator preparation and professional development. Changing Expectations Corp also provides STEM education outreach services and informal learning opportunities to the community and the public. Changing Expectations provides the WeTeach_CS professional development collaborative for Central Texas computer science teachers. We also provide the My Brother's Keeper Coding Makerspace on cybersecurity for underrepresented Black and Hispanic male students supported by the National Science Foundation and a CSforALL Project on artificial intelligence for Black and Hispanic students with disabilities supported by the National Science Foundation.
