Rahab's Rope is a 501(c)(3) that exists to give hope and opportunity to women and girls that are at risk or have been forced into the commercial sex trade of India. By creating a safe and loving environment, they are enabled to grow and develop physically, mentally, and spiritually. Our work provides basic education and vocational training for each girl and woman who come through our centers, ultimately allowing them to integrate into their communities in a positive and constructive manner.

*KISORO COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS ASSOCIATION (KCVA) *Who we Are* *KCVA* is a local, volunteer-driven NGO/CBO based in *Kisoro District, South-Western Uganda*. Started in the early 2000s by Kisoro residents who wanted to tackle poverty, HIV/AIDS, and poor farming yields in their own communities. *What we Do* KCVA *utilizes* local volunteers, international volunteers and partnerships to run programs in 5 main areas: 1. *Farming & Food Security* Trains small holder farmers on improved potato, beans, and vegetable farming. Teaches post-harvest handling, kitchen gardens, and links groups to markets. 2. *Women & Youth Empowerment* Forms Village Savings groups + SACCOs. Teaches record keeping, bargaining, and business skills. Helps women speak up in community meetings. 3. *Health Support* Community education on malaria, nutrition, maternal health, and HIV/AIDS. Home visits for vulnerable families. Supports school fees for orphans. 4. *Environment* Tree planting and soil conservation on Kisoro’s steep hills. Works to reduce conflict between farmers and wildlife near Mgahinga Gorilla Park. 5. *Education* Back-to-school drives for girls, adult literacy circles, and scholastic materials for vulnerable kids. *How we Work* -Volunteer model : Trained local volunteers mobilize communities and follow up weekly. Keeps costs low, trust high. - *Partnership model*: KCVA doesn’t work alone. Ezer Mizion's goal is to provide paramedical and social services for the ill, the elderly and disabled populations and for all people in crisis. Initiated in 1979 with 8 volunteers, Ezer Mizion now annually serves over 650,000 people in Israel. Meals on Wheels are provided to families whose member is seriously ill. the elderly, the disabled are transported regularly for doctor's visits and treatment. State of the art equipment is loaned to the speech impaired and mobility or respiratory challenged. Special education programs are designed to provide loving encouragement for the child and respite for the stressed family. Oranit, Israel's Guest Home for Children with Cancer and Their Families, allows the family to reside near treatment centers during chemotherapy and provides professional therapy designed to ease the emotional stress of both child, siblings and parents. Ezer Mizion's International Bone Marrow Registry for cancer patients, the largest Jewish registry in the world, has saved the lives of over 2500 patients around the globe.
