Middle school students exist at a critical juncture in which their love for mathematics must be nurtured, or their fear of mathematics must be overcome. MATHCOUNTS provides students with the kinds of experiences that foster growth and transcend fear to lay a foundation for future success. For more than 30 years MATHCOUNTS has provided enriching, extracurricular opportunities to students and free, high-quality resources to educators. Every child is unique, but we believe all children are capable of seeing the beauty and joy of math, whether they come to us already passionate about math, or intimidated by it. There are many paths to math. We work to ensure that all students discover theirs.

The Becky Baker Foundation
• We believe that the best way to beat breast cancer is by preventing breast cancer. The most effective means to this end is with annual thermograms or mammograms. The BBF offers these services free of charge to those who cannot afford them. • We want to educate every woman in America about the importance of preventing breast cancer in their bodies. Our foot-in-the-door is our free screening offer. This is the first step for many women, and once they actually move forward with their checkup, we offer them the continuing education they need to take care of their body and most likely avoid breast cancer in the future. We also offer continuing education for the male loved-ones of all women. We have learned that most men do not have a working understanding of breast cancer and how this evil disease infects so many women. The BBF is a public charity exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our Federal Employer Tax ID number is 84-2047492. Our goal going forward is to provide 5,000 free mammograms/thermograms in 2021, doubling that number every year until we reach one million per year in 2028. • This will change the national breast cancer conversation from “Awareness” to “Prevention,” which is the founder's ultimate goal in honoring Becky Baker.

Founded and led by a woman, this registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Uganda is dedicated to uplifting women, young girls, orphans, HIV/AIDS-affected children, young mothers and Elderly. The foundation achieves its goals through initiatives in education, health education, economic empowerment at the micro-community level, environmental conservation and spiritual development, all aimed at fostering sustainable progress in Uganda with its core -Mark 16:15. Since its inception, VHF has been a leading advocate for children’s rights and well-being. It strives to ensure that every child particularly the most vulnerable—as well as young mothers and those living with HIV, has access to quality education, healthcare, protection, spiritual enrichment (Generally) and a safe environment in which to thrive. Today, we work across Oyam District and beyond, partnering with local communities to provide education, health services, agricultural training, and spiritual support for sustainable pathways out of poverty.
