SOFIAS HOPE

Sofia's Hope was inspired by the life and death of Sofia Blanco at the age of thirteen. And it is in her memory that we will fight cancer by raising childhood cancer awareness and the fact that children are dying every day waiting for promising new treatments; funding childhood cancer research and advances in treatment, especially as it relates to their long-term effects (including prevention, detection and treatment); and offering programs that enhance the quality of life of children with cancer.

INSTITUTE FOR INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN COMMUNICATION INC

INSTITUTE FOR INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN COMMUNICATION INC

WorldView is growing. Instead of one ministry, we are becoming two. Our enthusiasm for all people from all cultures to know the Gospel has not changed. We are selling the building that has long been known as WorldView Center. The passion for helping people in a multicultural community is still very real and will be known as Sanctuary Inn. The ministry known as WorldView or the training part of WorldView is still thriving and will continue to be known as WorldView. Both ministries will be moving in the next few months. This means charges in locations, addresses, web sites, and newsletters and other communications. We are excited and challenged about what lies ahead for the two ministries. We have shared “history” and we believe that God has great plans for our futures.

By 2020, KIPP:MA’s plan is to serve 2,500 students in 6 schools in Lynn and Boston. In Boston, the current cap on charter school seats is preventing us from founding a KIPP high school to serve some of the kids who need us most – including our current middle school students.
