Dedicated to providing orthopedic surgeries to persons of limited resources in under-developed countries. Present focus is on the project in Portoviejo, Ecuador. We hold several missions trips per year and invite volunteer medical personnel to participate as parts of these groups.

Since 1989, The Shade Tree has provided victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, human trafficking, as well as homeless youth and families, with a wide range of comprehensive support. We believe: That no one should ever have to endure a state of homelessness, existing in fear for personal safety and without the means to meet even the most basic of human needs – food and shelter. That every human being, regardless of social status, has the right to be treated with dignity and respect. That all homeless children are victims because they lack choice and mobility. That homelessness is a community problem that impacts everyone. That everyone can be a part of the solution.

THE LIFE LINK

In the beginning, the intention was simple – get homeless families back on their feet. It took a split-second to recognize that many of these families had substance abuse problems, and then another second to recognize there may be mental health concerns. Those few seconds defined the direction of The Life Link. Our programs primarily focus on housing, mental health, and substance abuse. We provide help to people that are in need of one service and any combination of the three.

Rahab's Rope is a 501(c)(3) that exists to give hope and opportunity to women and girls that are at risk or have been forced into the commercial sex trade of India. By creating a safe and loving environment, they are enabled to grow and develop physically, mentally, and spiritually. Our work provides basic education and vocational training for each girl and woman who come through our centers, ultimately allowing them to integrate into their communities in a positive and constructive manner.
