Hands On Peru
We generate capacities and opportunities in marginalized communities, through participatory work, so families can have the tools and knowledge necessary to have healthier and better quality lives. Hands on Peru has created a pioneering center called CESAPU - Public Health Center, with a pioneering model of community programs, with which it improves the conditioning factors of health (determinants of health), hand in hand with the same community. The most successful program is MADRE CESAPU. Which provides technical, economic and personal empowerment. Enough Courage Program
The Enough Courage Program was developed and designed by survivors to support survivors of trauma related violence. We serve a Tri-County area of Lackawanna, Susquehanna, and some of Wayne county. The area has a very high rate of violence and in need of advocacy and support. We believe that one survivor helping another is without parallel, and no one has to endure trauma and not be able to reach out for support no matter where you are located.
