Being led by the Holy Spirit and motivated by the love of Christ, Heartland Baptist Missions exists to assist churches and their missionaries: EVANGELIZE the unsaved (“And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many”—Acts 14:21). EDIFY believers (“Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith”—Acts 14:22). ESTABLISH local churches (“And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.”—Acts 14:23). This will be accomplished through the preparation and mobilization of missionaries to evangelize the lost, disciple believers, and establish Baptist churches and outreach ministries such as Christian schools, Bible institutions, youth camps, medical clinics, etc., at home and abroad to the glory of God alone. Heartland Baptist Missions is evangelistic in practice, biblically sound in doctrine, and worldwide in its outreach.

ADAPTIVE FREEDOM FOUNDATION
Adaptive Freedom Foundation A foundation for inclusion through adaptive water sports and recreation. Vision Statement: Adaptive Freedom Foundation puts Smiles on Faces and Hope in Hearts. We do this providing life-changing experiences to individuals with disabilities along with their families and friends through therapeutic water sports and recreation. We help foster confidence and self-esteem by smashing self-limiting beliefs! If we can float a wheelchair on the water, then our only limitation is our imagination! Mission Statement: Adaptive Freedom Foundation a 501(c)3 nonprofit, believes sports in general raise our quality of life. Sports build confidence, improve our physical fitness, and emotional well-being. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to participate. AFF uses WASUP™ (Wheelchair Adapted Stand Up Paddle) Boards as tools to include the portion of our society that has been limited due to beliefs and a lack of adaptive equipment. These boards secure a wheelchair onto a stand up paddle board and allow everyone the opportunity to get out on the water and enjoy. What was previously thought impossible is now possible! AFF partners with other foundations to share the gift of WASUP™ and the healing powers of the water. We are stronger together. We regularly host “Paddle Days” to introduce our WASUP boards and get people out on the water. Through the use of our WASUP™ Boards we see adaptive stand-up paddle boarding becoming something accessible to everyone. We are working to build teams to compete in Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) races and spread awareness of the sport. We will start chapters, which will duplicate what we have done in Southern California and Hawaii, to multiply the lasting effects of WASUP™ and adaptive sports with the community locally, nationally and internationally. Through donations, corporate partners, corporate sponsors, and our volunteers we are able to offer this opportunity free of charge. We are changing one life at a time as we paddle through doors that they may have felt were previously closed to them!

The specific purposes for which this corporation is organized include, but are not limited to: Improving the quality of life in Pahoa Village and Puna communities by inspiring and empowering the people of Pahoa and Puna to become integral parts of improving the community by, eliminating negative elements (crime, vandalism, drug- and alcohol-abuse, graffiti, littering, etc.), strengthening and creating positive elements (youth programs, village beautification, educational, arts and recreational programs for all ages, economic, community development, homesteading education, substance abuse treatment programs, services for the elderly, homeless and infirm, cultural education and celebration programs to facilitate better appreciation and understanding of the Native Hawaiian traditions, beliefs and heritage and to create a creative outlet for the people of Pahoa and Puna, and to bring life back into the Lower East Rift Zone (LERZ) , to help conserve and restore our vital native habitats, as Hawaii is the endangered species capital of the world and permanently incorporated into endangered and threatened articles of incorporation , so that we pave the way for generations to come to protect our planet, and more specifically, the very threatened natural habitat that is the Lower East Rift Zone of Hawai’i island.
