GCF’s objective is to raise awareness and support towards securing a future for giraffe and the conservation of their habitat in Africa, and more specifically to: *Support the conservation of viable and existing habitat for giraffe. *Identify key threats to giraffe in Africa and develop innovative ways to mitigate them. *Raise awareness of and promote the value of giraffe conservation in African Range States as well as internationally. *Plan, develop, implement and administer projects and programmes – including the appointment of project staff – in support of its primary aim, in co-operation with local communities and partner institutions, as appropriate. *Collaborate with local, national and international partners on giraffe conservation efforts in the interests of giraffe conservation in African Range States. *Raise funds for giraffe conservation and management across Africa. *Maintain a close working relationship with the IUCN SSC Giraffe and Okapi Specialist Group (GOSG)

At Paws of Heaven, we are committed to providing comfort and therapy dogs to those in need, especially veterans and first responders. We are dedicated to identifying people with PTSD (or other anxiety issues) who would benefit from a therapy or comfort dog. As a PTSD sufferer, I feel a calling to serve other PTSD sufferers, especially veterans. Once we identify a good candidate, we match that person with the perfect dog. This entire process is done at no cost to the recipient. In 2 Corinthians 1, we discover that God is the Father of all comfort, and He comforts us in all our troubles. We also discover God enables us to comfort others with the same comfort we receive from Him. In His absolute sovereignty, God chooses any vessel for providing comfort, and we believe God has chosen to use dogs to provide comfort in countless ways. Paws of Heaven is committed to seeking those who, by the loving grace of God, can benefit from a therapeutic relationship with a service or support dog. At Paws of Heaven, we rely 100% on generous contributions from people just like you. Please consider making a donation; no gift is too small. Right now, we need funding to add staffing, recruit, and train more volunteers, hire and train more handlers, purchase quality dog food, provide shelter, and provide veterinarian care.
